Behold my latest creation. I made it to take to A-Kon. I just finished it tonight. I cut it a bit close, but it's done! Hoorah!

I decided to name it and as you can see, I named it Kuiper Xiphos. It'll be swung across my back with the buckle in the front, in case you were curious.

It's made out of a cardboard tube, water noodle (for extra support), an old belt, some old printer parts, and a lot of paint.

As usual, the photo doesn't do it justice. There are actually a lot of moving parts on here. The gears on the sight move, there's a thing on the motor piece that moves, and the fan moves as well as the ring on the sight.

What's this? I'm on Tumblr? And so is this picture? Craziness.

And in case anyone is at all interested, that is my new bed it's sitting on. I thought it was the best setting. Better than a chair surrounded by junk and a couch.
